City Commissioners accepted a $3.1 million bid from PSO for the city-owned electrical supply system. That action came in an executive session that took about an hour-and-a-half at Monday night's regular meeting. The commission was split, voting 3-2 for the acceptance of the bid. Commissioner Tom Mike Johnson and Mayor Teresa Mullican voted against accepting the bid. Commissioners Roy Burson, Tom Davis and Bruce Byerly voted to accept it. The vote only required a simple majority.
