A joint venture between the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes’ economic development department and the tribes’ Lucky Star Casino enterprise is behind a new gaming operation in western Oklahoma that could create up to 60 jobs. SAYRE — Sayre High School remained open Thursday while a quarter of the students were absent with flu-like symptoms. City Commissioners accepted a $3.1 million bid from PSO for the city-owned electrical supply system. That action came in an executive session that took about an hour-and-a-half at Monday night's regular meeting. The commission was split, voting 3-2 for the acceptance of the bid.
